Clint Cowden, ag science and technology instructor for West Hills Community College in Coalinga, Calif., talks about how the attitudes of incoming students of precision farming have changed in the ten years he has been at the school.

According to Cowden, early on, students were focused on taking a short schedule of courses so they could return to their family farm as soon as possible.

Now, more and more students are using the precision farming background to explore specialized fields within precision farming.
