The college offers an AAS in Precision Agriculture and customized precision ag- related training for agricultural producers, insurance underwriters, equipment dealer and agricultural cooperative employees and others. The Associate of Applied Science program prepares students for careers in production agriculture, agricultural implement dealerships and cooperatives, insurance agencies, computer service entities and others. The 67 semester hours include core coursework in agronomy, weed science, crop production, information technology, precision agriculture, GIS, GPS, basic and advanced software including, data analyses, hardware and software troubleshooting and a full semester internship. Funded student sponsorship and academic-year internships are available. Customized training is offered nationwide to agricultural equipment dealers, co-ops and producers at request and tailored to local circumstances. Online coursework and specialized training available in October 2014.
