Haven Steel Products’ new Ultra-Tuf coating, UTC™
Haven Steel has introduced UTC™, their new “high wear / abrasion resistant” coatings in the McKenzie, TN factory. Physical properties of this high-wear coating do the following for Tillage Tools, Disc blades and Ground Engaging tools:
- Extends the life of your Tillage / Ground Engaging tools by 3X – 5X
- Coating thickness is ≈ 0.025” to 0.040”
- Hardness ranges between 58 - 63 HRC
- Less downtime means more uptime
- High-abrasion coating is harder than your base material. Hence, the base wears before the coatings to provide the extended wear properties.
