Question: What precision farming markets or areas hold the most potential to expand your dealership’s business in the next year and why?
Answers: “I believe implement guidance is becoming a much needed niche in our area. We have a lot of rolling hills in Northeast Kansas and the steerable hitch, steerable coulters and steerable tires are not enough to get repeatable, sub-inch accuracy.
“At one time John Deere had what they called “IGuide” which steered the tractor to where the planter needed to be. It worked flawlessly for a few years and now it is off the market. If someone would develop a product like this again, we could sell many of them.”
