LITTLETON, Colo., and LINCOLN, Neb. — Sandhills Publishing and Charter Software Inc. have signed an agreement to integrate a number
of Sandhills Publishing products into Charter's ASPEN Business Management System. The initial integration includes Sandhills’ equipment inspection app, which allows dealers to create inspection reports for individual assets that can then be attached to inventory records in the
ASPEN business system.

The integration also includes FleetEvaluator — Sandhills Publishing’s asset valuation software powered by real-time asset and market data; once subscribed, users gain access to the latest market and auction values, which will also now be accessible within unit records, quote documents, work orders, or unit maintenance screens in the ASPEN business system.

"The new interfaces we will include in ASPEN, like FleetEvaluator, will ensure dealers are trading properly for used equipment and are able to more strategically set retail prices on inventory, which will assuredly create better margins and directly impact their bottom lines," states Charter President/CEO Anne Salemo.

Access to data across individuals and departments enables dealers to maintain an accurate understanding of where they stand on every asset through multiple stages of the equipment lifecycle. In addition to making inspection and valuation information more readily accessible, this technology integration also saves dealers time and resources, helping them avoid data reentry, which in turn reduces opportunities for errors and improves the accuracy of information.

Additional integrations, including the ability to automatically upload units and pictures to websites hosted by Sandhills, are also in the works as part of ASPEN’s immediate roadmap.
