HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — CDS-John Blue Co. announced that Mike Bowman will assume the role as the CEO, effective Feb. 1, 2016. Jim Stubbs, former CEO, will serve on the company’s Board of Directors. Mike Poland will continue to serve as chief operating officer and Marty Gray as the company’s chief financial officer.

Bowman brings to the position an extensive background in the agricultural industry, working closely with both distributors and OEM’s. Formerly the president of Banjo Corp., Bowman was instrumental in expanding and significantly growing the product line into both the industrial and international markets.   

“Mike Bowman’s leadership style led the transformation of Banjo through the years as a leader in liquid handling products worldwide,” said Stubbs. “His deep agricultural expertise, coupled with his success in the industrial and international markets, make him an excellent choice to build on CDS-John Blue Co.’s leading market position.”

CDS-John Blue also recently announced the following staff promotions: Jeff Ferguson, manufacturing manager is now director of manufacturing; Craig Mashburn, sales manager is director of sales and Jason Stewart, engineer manager is director of engineer.
