November 2, 2012 — Digi-Star LLC announces the addition of two new sales and marketing personnel to their staff.

The company welcomes Chris Horton as its new product planning manager and Jack Danner as its newest sales manager.

In the newly developed position Horton is filling, he will manage Digi‐Star's new product process. Kevin Klubertanz, Director of Sales and Marketing, said, "Our rapid growth plan demands that Digi‐Star lead the market in precision agriculture solutions. Chris's role will insure that products meet the needs of producers and are successfully introduced to the market."

Horton has recent experience as a Senior Product Manager for an agriculture manufacturing partner of Digi‐Star. He also has experience as an Associate Professor teaching Agricultural Engineering at the State University of New York and at Cobleskill and Owens Community College in Ohio.

"Chris's experience with new product development and launches, along with his sales and teaching skill set, make him a great fit for Digi‐Star," said Klubertanz.

Based in Digi‐Star's Fort Atkinson, Wisc. office, Horton will help define new product development, manage product life cycles, and identify technical marketing opportunities. Horton has a BS in Agricultural Engineering and a MA in Agricultural and Occupational Education from Cornell University. Danner will also be based in the Fort Atkinson, Wisc. office. He has a B.S. in Business and Economics from UW‐Parkside and an MBA from UW‐LaCrosse.

Kevin Klubertanz, Director of Sales and Marketing, said, "Jack's outgoing nature and experience are ideal to guide Digi‐Star's account management team to new levels of success."

Danner has had leading roles in production and sales prior to joining Digi‐Star. Most recently he was responsible for the sales management of two implement dealerships and a grain and feed mill.
