Hoober, Inc., recently announced that Daniel Bowie has joined the Wakefield, VA store as a Precision Farming Specialist.

In his role, Bowie will be responsible for working with customers in the region in all aspects of precision agriculture.

A graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Agricultural Sciences with minors in Geography and Crop and Soil Environmental Sciences, Bowie completed three months of training with Hoober’s Precision Farming Team to learn the dealership’s capabilities and approach to precision farming solutions for farmers.

“Precision ag has been my primary interest for a number of years and the team at Hoober has some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry,” said Bowie. “Working with the Hoober Precision Farming team over the past few months has helped broaden my knowledge and understanding of what we can offer our customers.”

“We’re excited to have Daniel as part of our team,” said Ken Diller, Hoober’s Precision Farming Manager. “He has a passion for precision farming, the technology and how they can help farmers be more productive. Daniel also has a strong commitment to customer service and that’s cornerstone to our organization’s identity.”

A native of Sparta, VA, Bowie is glad to have the opportunity to help expand the precision farming capabilities to farmers in Wakefield and the surrounding region.

“I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know farmers in the area,” said Bowie. “I enjoy working with precision farming technology and am excited about what we as an organization can do to help farmers get the most out of their equipment and their fields.”
