FARGO, N.D. – Butler Machinery Company, a third-generation family-owned equipment dealer serving agriculture and construction customers across the region, is introducing a new brand identity for Butler Ag, its agriculture division. The refreshed identity honors Butler’s agricultural history while bringing a more modern and focused look to the Butler Ag brand.
Butler’s agriculture story traces back to 1955, when the company entered the equipment business. From steel-tracked tractors and dependable service to the introduction of Challenger and rubber track technology in agriculture, Butler has helped farmers, cattle producers, and rural customers adapt through decades of change. That legacy continues today through Butler Ag’s commitment to service, expertise, and customer support for the future of farming and livestock production.
The refreshed Butler Ag logo marks the next chapter for the company’s agriculture division, evolving alongside the industry and the equipment lines it represents. As the Challenger brand has transitioned out of the market, the Butler Ag lineup continues to offer farmers and cattle producers leading solutions to fit their needs, including AGCO’s Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Gleaner and PTx brands, along with Horsch.
“This new Butler Ag identity is more than just a logo change,” said Twylah Blotsky, President and CEO. “Our history gives us confidence in our future. For more than seventy years, Butler has earned the trust of agricultural customers by helping them adapt and grow through periods of tremendous change. This new identity represents the next chapter of that journey.”
The new Butler Ag brand is built around a clear promise: the same Butler trust, a new agriculture identity, and a stronger future ahead. It reflects the company’s continued focus on equipment expertise, stand-out parts and service support, precision technology, and the customer relationships that have shaped the Butler name.
“Our agriculture customers — from farmers to cattle producers — are making decisions that impact their business, their families, and the future of their operations,” said Ben Studer, Director of Ag Division. “The new Butler Ag identity reflects our customers as much as our company. Agriculture continues to evolve, and producers need partners who can evolve with them. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and the role we'll play in helping customers navigate them with confidence.”
The new Butler Ag brand will be introduced publicly this week at Big Iron, the largest outdoor agricultural and construction trade show in the Upper Midwest. The launch will be supported by updated materials, customer communications, media outreach, social media, and event presence. The transition will continue in phases across our locations, including signage, apparel, printed materials, digital platforms, and customer-facing resources.
While the look is changing, Butler’s commitment to agriculture remains the same. Rooted in decades of customer support and strengthened by today’s advanced equipment, precision technology, and full-service capabilities, Butler Ag will continue investing in the future of farming and livestock production.
