HydroBio, Inc., a global leader in precision agriculture, announces a technology partnership with another industry leader, Crop Tech Solutions of Gothenburg, Nebraska. Crop Tech provides a cloud-based planning, fertility, and financial management system aimed at consolidating fiscal data for farmers which pairs nicely with the satellite-based analytics that HydroBio has developed to provide farmers with actionable irrigation data and scouting information. Crop Tech now includes HydroBio’s software as part of their service offerings.

Growers have more information available to them today than ever before. As agriculture technology reaches exciting new frontiers, the future of farming lies in industry partnerships. “Our customers have told us that being able to access multiple data sources is important to them, and we’ve been listening,” said HydroBio CEO Barrett Mooney, Ph.D., “Having a complete set of data from pre-plant through harvest is important for the ability to make day to day decisions.”

HydroBio uses a proprietary algorithm which combines satellite imagery and analytics to provide irrigation management and variable rate irrigation prescriptions, identify pest and sprinkler problems and offer harvest recommendations. In partnering with Crop Tech, these tools will pair with fertility planning and implementation, financial analytics on inventory, expenses, crop insurance, commodity insights, sales contracts and harvest tracking.  Adding HydroBio data services allows Crop Tech to offer its customers a robust package of precision agriculture services.

“We are very excited and look forward to working with the powerful technology provided by HydroBio, Inc.,” said Crop Tech Solutions CEO and Founder Jim Aden. “It is a great addition to our core products that provide value based service and technology to our customers that meets or exceeds our return on investment standards,” said Aden. “We view this partnership as another critical piece of a system for a farmer that reduces some of the ‘overload’ they are experiencing in today’s data driven farming operations. Most importantly, it will save valuable time and increase convenience for our customers, which is a top priority.” The partnership demonstrates HydroBio and Crop Tech’s commitment to shaping the future of agriculture for generations to come by improving farm profit, productivity, and sustainability.
