The associate professor of Machine Automation & Agricultural Robotics (MAARS) at the University of Nebraska is leading a team of plant scientists and biological systems engineers in the development of the autonomous machine. It’s a smaller sized tractor that has a variety of sensors to measure closer to ground level to take phenotyping measurements.
