Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec — MASCHIO GASPARDO officially inaugurated its Canadian subsidiary, Équipements MG Canada Inc., with company representatives, local authorities and distribution partners.

The 32,250 sq. ft. facility, including 3,250 sq. ft. of offices, brings together training areas, machinery and spare parts storage, assembly and operational support. By placing these functions under one roof, it gives Canadian dealers a closer point of contact for products, technical expertise and service, especially during critical farming periods.

Founded in Italy in 1964, MASCHIO GASPARDO operates eight manufacturing plants across Italy, Romania, India and China, employs approximately 2,000 people and has 15 commercial subsidiaries worldwide. Its full-line portfolio covers soil preparation, seeding and planting, fertilization, crop protection, green maintenance and haymaking, providing solutions for different farm sizes, crops and operating conditions.

Global Manufacturing Strength, Local Commitment

MASCHIO GASPARDO's Full Line Store strategy is built around a network of dedicated, single-brand dealerships developed with selected partners. These locations offer farmers access to a broad range of MASCHIO GASPARDO machinery, combined with specialized advice, product demonstrations, training, spare parts and aftersales service. The objective is to help farmers discover and choose the right equipment for different stages of the agricultural cycle, while enabling dealers to develop deeper product expertise and stronger customer relationships. The network currently includes six Full Line Stores worldwide, including the first in North America, inaugurated in Illinois in May 2026.

“We want to be more than a machinery supplier. Our full-line approach brings together innovative products, expertise and dependable support. In Canada, we are investing in the local partnerships that make this commitment real.” -Mirco Maschio, President of MASCHIO GASPARDO

The Group has operated directly in the United States from DeWitt, Iowa, since 2004. Its recent Iowa joint venture with Lynx AG to develop and manufacture large-format precision planters reinforces its commitment to equipment designed around North American farming conditions. The Canadian operation is the next step in bringing that expertise closer to local customers.

“North America is strategic for us. Growth depends on product quality, machinery availability and responsive service, backed by a strong dealer network. Our Canadian subsidiary puts us closer to the market and better able to earn customer trust.” -Luigi De Puppi, Chief Executive Officer of MASCHIO GASPARDO

Equipment for Canadian Farming Conditions

The equipment on display reflected the variety of Canadian farming needs. For soil preparation, visitors saw the 23 foot VELOCE high-speed disc harrow, DMR 4000 power harrow, 13 foot ARTIGLIO subsoiler and ATTILA HYDRO subsoiler. These solutions address operations ranging from shallow residue incorporation to deep soil loosening.

Precision seeding and crop management were represented by the CHRONO 306 high speed corn planter, OLIMPIA vegetable seeder and PRIMO 445 fertilizer spreader. The DELTA 830 corn chopper and GIRAFFA 210 mulcher completed the MASCHIO GASPARDO display.

Beyond the displayed machines, the wider portfolio includes VELOCE TX ISOTRONIC for high-capacity minimum tillage, ORIETTA vegetable seeders, BORA disc mowers, LEVANTE tedders, PONENTE rakes, round balers and heavy-duty mulchers. The breadth of the range gives dealers opportunities to serve more of their customers’ requirements across the farming cycle.

MASCHIO GASPARDO is expanding its CHRONO high-speed planting technology in North America. Developed with Lynx AG in Iowa, the new CHRONO 1000 is a 24-row precision planter with 30-inch (76 cm) row spacing, designed for large-scale farming. Its advanced pneumatic seed delivery system enables accurate planting at speeds exceeding 15 km/h. Previewed at Farm Progress Show 2026, several machines will operate in North American fields during 2027, ahead of the official launch at Farm Progress Show 2027.

“Innovation must deliver real results in the field. From tillage to high-speed planting and specialist crops, we develop reliable, practical technologies that help farmers improve productivity and work more efficiently.” -Andrea Maschio, President of Maschio Holding
