Measure, a national drone as a service operator, announced it has raised $15 million in Series B financing with LionTree Advisors acting as the financial advisor.
Robert Blair, farmer and VP of Agriculture for Measure, testified on Thursday, June 23, 2016, before the U.S. House Committee on Agriculture's Subcommittee on General Farm Commodities and Risk Management. Blair was the first person to petition the Federal Aviation Administration for permission to use an unmanned aerial vehicle on a farm.
The goal of Measure Nationwide, the new commercial drone franchise system, will be to bring the most competent and qualified operators into one system and provide customers around the country with safe, legal, and insured flights and standardized data products.
