Ag Engineer Keeping an Eye on Caterpillar-Monarch Deal
In part two of Brownfield’s interview with Scott Shearer, he shares his take on Caterpillar’s acquisition of Monarch Tractor. Shearer says he’s interested to see how Caterpillar will integrate Monarch’s technology. “I’m really kind of curious as to if they were interested in the IP around the autonomy…or the electrification part,” Shearer says. “It’s something that I think bears a little bit more investigation.”
