Precision Farming Dealer has announced the agenda, speakers and presentation lineup for its second Precision Farming Dealer Summit. With the theme of “Proven Business Blueprints,” the 2017 dealer-only event will feature some of the most progressive minds in the precision farming business, sharing bankable management methods and money-making strategies to maximize profitability in today’s market.
As farm customers continue to be cautious with new equipment investments, having an effective playbook for proving ROI and payback of precision technology is essential. This upcoming event (open only to professional dealer personnel) will help precision decision-makers of all colors, brands and sizes strengthen their infrastructure for future profitability, while taking full advantage of current revenue-generating opportunities.
To be held at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark on Jan. 9-10 and co-located with the 25th Annual National No-Tillage Conference, the event builds on the popular formula of past Dealer Summits, to include informal peer-to-peer roundtables, general session presentations (covering precision managerial strategies and structure) and extensive networking opportunities via on-site meals and panel presentations.
The dealer-to-dealer panel sessions will feature in-depth discussions on building a lucrative and recognizable precision farming service brand, creating recurring revenue through precision support plans and strategies for structuring a productive, accountable precision department.
Also announced is a special, bonus session immediately following the conclusion of the Summit on Jan. 10, featuring Greg Peterson, a.k.a. Machinery Pete. Coordinated in conjunction with the National No-Tillage Conference, the special session will give Summit attendees the opportunity to network with farmers and hear from the leading authority on the used ag equipment market.
Peterson will provide the latest analysis and perspective on the values for used no-till planters and drills, self-propelled sprayers, strip-till rigs and other equipment. He’ll also discuss the top trends to watch in 2017 — from both the buyers’ and sellers’ perspectives, providing data on how to maintain value in used equipment — including precision farming systems — and options and other specifications that can add up to a higher value.
