USDA's crop progress report for the week ended Oct. 24 reported 66% of corn crops harvested, below the 70% reported harvested by this time in 2020. The 5-year average for corn harvested in this week is 53%.
USDA reported 73% of soybeans harvested in the week, below the 82% reported in the same week last year. The 5-year average for soybeans harvested is 70%.
The same report showed 35% of cotton and 71% of sorghum harvested.
