According to a report from Bloomberg Law, AGCO has lost challenges it made in court to invalidate two of Deere's patents involved in a lawsuit filed in 2018.

John Deere has introduced the ExactRate factory-installed option for precise monitoring and controlling liquid fertilizer application during planting. ExactRate gives operators row-by-row section control to help reduce fertilizer costs and the amount of chemicals applied by shutting off application in areas of overlap or non-application.
