Deere & Co. reported net income of $1.208 billion for the second quarter ended April 29, 2018 compared with net income of $808.5 million for the quarter ended April 30, 2017.

Trimble announced financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year end 2016 results.

As farmers face continuing economic challenges, a FarmLink analysis of its proprietary benchmark data found that for the second year in a row approximately one third of farm operations could have earned additional revenue in 2015, totaling $8.1 billion across the U.S.

FarmLink recently introduced a new online farm equipment sharing community, leveraging this new economy business model to manage the cost of farm equipment and help generate incremental revenues.

Third quarter fiscal 2015 revenues were $160.7 million versus $169.9 million of revenues in the same prior year period.

“We are providing yield map reports for customers, which has been good for us so far. Something new we added this year is field mapping where we go out to the farm and set up all fields with boundaries, guidance lines, waterways and features that are needed. We also record topography to evaluate drainage issues and develop a drainage plan for customers, if needed.”
