St. George, Utah – Over 200 people from farm and golf operations across the west were in attendance at the Fifth Annual Stotz Equipment Precision Summit held at the Red Lion in St. George, Utah, last month. The event is organized and hosted by the company’s growing Precision Team.

The Summit opened on the evening of January 25th by welcoming guests with a social hour and open exhibit, giving customers the opportunity to connect with vendors, learn about the latest technologies, and discuss the customized in-house solutions Stotz Equipment offers. The new format focused on one full day of meetings on January 26th and included presentations from the Stotz Equipment team, John Deere, key vendors, and customers. Customer panels gave attendees the opportunity to learn about how their peers are using the latest technologies to improve their operations and round table discussions offered them the chance to further discuss. The event ended with dinner and golf at Big Shots, giving everyone another chance to network in casual environment before heading home. Initial feedback has indicated that the new location and format were a welcome change and that the event was a success.

Stotz Equipment believes that their long-term success is dependent upon their ability to leverage changing technologies to help their customers improve the performance of their operations. In 2021, the company changed the department’s name from “Stotz Equipment Precision Ag” to simply “Stotz Precision” as they expand their technology applications in the golf and construction industries. This year, they followed suite with their annual event, calling it the “2023 Stotz Precision Summit.” With a Precision Team of around 30 dedicated individuals, the company continues to develop this segment of their business, offering creative solutions and strengthening relationships with their forward-thinking customer base.
