AI Insights Reducing Manual Scouting for Midwest Retailers
Syngenta and Taranis’ AI crop intelligence tool is gaining momentum with growers and retailers in the Midwest according to this report from The Scoop. “We’ve worked to scale the partnership more broadly in our second year — this means connecting AI Crop Intelligence with our Crop Protection portfolio and bringing these solutions to more retailers,” says Paul Backman, Syngenta’s Head of North America Crop Protection Digital Agriculture & Sustainable Solutions. “The results from our first year together demonstrated a clear benefit for growers to be more targeted and to address field issues earlier — helping growers and retailers be more efficient in pinpointing challenges and the right solutions to address them.”
Solinftec Closing the Loop on Autonomous Spraying
Solinftec now has over 300 solar-powered robots spot spraying weeds, with up to 60 expected to utilize autonomous refilling capabilities this year, according to this Ag Funder News feature. “In the next 3-5 years, we’re going to scale a lot, and the curve now is more towards how we fulfill the cycle of the autonomy with the refill stations,” says Guilherme Guine, Solinftec North American COO. “This is going to be the first commercial year for those and means we can have 24/7 field operation without human intervention."
Case IH Dealer Educates Customers With Data Management Webinar
Indiana Case IH dealer Bane-Welker is going the extra mile to make sure customers are getting the most out of their data. Aleah Scheurich, precision data specialist, recently covered the nuts and bolts of equipment data management during this offseason webinar.
AGCO Dealer Boosts Tech Efficiency by 5% in 8 Weeks with AI
AI is helping AgRevolution solve some of its biggest problems in the shop. The 12-store AGCO dealer with locations in Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio, has boosted its technician efficiency with Vi by visorPRO, an AI-powered knowledge assistant designed for equipment dealerships. “It’s not just about finding the service manual — it’s about using our past work to improve quoting, increase absorption and train our team faster,” says Daniel Stansbury, Corporate Service Director, AgRevolution.
