John Deere's See & Spray 'On a Third' of New Sprayer Orders

John Deere See & Spray adoption has nearly doubled this year, Deanna Kovar told analysts on a recent earnings call. The president of Deere’s worldwide agriculture and turf division, product and precision agriculture, also said more than 40% of model year planters already sold in North America include Deere’s ExactRate, Exactshot and FurrowVision technologies. Kansas State Cuts Ribbon on New Innovation & Research Center

Brownfield Ag has the scoop on a new innovation and research center at Kansas State University, which its president calls a gamechanger for the future of ag. The complex is part of K-State’s $210 million agriculture innovation initiative supported by the state, philanthropic and commodity check off funding to expand research, teaching and engagement in food and ag. “We not only need the research to be done, but we need to train students how to do the research,” says Lance Rezac, a farmer director with Kansas Soybean. “I can’t think of a better way to invest in the future of agriculture than at K-State with this center.”
