John Deere has acquired patents and intellectual property from artificial intelligence startup Light, according to The Robot Report. Light specializes in depth perception technology and creating technology with human-like vision.

The flexible approach to autonomous agriculture developed by Blue White Robotics, Federated Wireless and Intel provides a new path for growers to improve outcomes with lower labor costs and less human error, while increasing farm-wide productivity.
