The cloud-based DataConnect system that enables the exchange of machinery data between CLAAS, 365FarmNet and John Deere is now commercially available, with further partners to follow soon. DataConnect enables the exchange of essential machinery data among different platforms, allowing users to view all of their mixed-brand fleet information within the single data platform of their choice.
Through this partnership, Climate Corporation FieldView customers using CLAAS telematics will gain secure cloud-to-cloud access to machine-generated insights like yield reports and maps, average grain moisture, as well as a digital record of the field worked – all in one place.
Farmers and contractors operating fleets of machinery from different brands will in the near future be able to securely exchange and view machine data through a common interface called DataConnect. In addition, they will be able to control and monitor their entire machinery fleet using their preferred telematics platform, without having to switch portals or manually transfer data from one system to another.
