Ideanomics, a global company focused on driving the adoption of commercial electric vehicles and associated energy consumption, announced that its subsidiary Solectrac will be honored with the WINnovation Award at the 2021 Wine Industry Network (WIN) Expo. Solectrac is being honored for the technology in its e70N electric tractor, which is specially designed for vineyard operations that require navigating through narrow rows of vines.

Honda and Black & Veatch have successfully tested the prototype Honda Autonomous Work Vehicle (AWV) at a Black & Veatch construction site in New Mexico. During the month-long field test, the second-generation prototype of the fully electric Honda AWV performed a range of functions at a large-scale solar energy construction project, including towing activities and transporting supplies to pre-set destinations within the work site.
